"I have one of the older models that had the overheat / blow fuse problems...I found that the DVD Rom in the Konka 1800u player (It's just an IDE DVD ROM) is picky about the burner...This player has no problems playing Audio CDs on CDR, VCDs, SVCDs, or pressed DVDs..." read more »
