Here are some quick tips when buying Home Theater:
- Make sure both Dolby Digital and DTS decoders are supported. Fortunately most systems support them.
- Systems with newer decoders support 6.1 and 7.1 channels but these standards arent presently used on many DVDs
- At least one HDMI (1.3 is the latest version) port will make it possible to get the best HDTV signal
