"D-Link Corporation is definitely not the new kid on the block, since 1986, they were always known as the leading manufacturer of networking, connectivity and Data Communication products...Today we will be working with D-Link?s DMP-100 MP3 Player, this is our fourth MP3 Player review here at the Target PC Publishing...The D-Link DMP-100 is D-Link?s latest MP3 solution...Judging by the looks of the DMP-100, this device is by far more attractive than the Outrageous MP3 player we reviewed a few weeks back...The DMP-100 uses two x AAA batteries, which by the way are already bundled with the unit..." read more »

"No drivers to install, good volume output, simple interface, good battery life Irritating low level background noise The DMP-210 "4-in-1" is an upgrade on the DMP-200 "3-in-1" from last year...small, easy to put music on, good customer service response joystick control, sound I received my player less than one week ago and am already returning it...Not too expensive, decent appearance, good features (theoretically) 2 units that didn't work because of problems accessing the SmartMedia card The idea is great..." read more »

"Located on the bottom of the unit is the USB connection, which allows you to connect the DMP-HD610 to your computer via the USB 1.1 interface...Of course, once you have the majority of your MP3 files transferred onto the DMP-HD610, you most likely will not have to endure this significant wait time again...In our case, our entire collection of MP3 files (which totaled 2,149 songs with a total size of 9.81GB) took a couple of hours to copy to the DMP-HD610...If you have a large MP3 collection, the DMP-HD610 will most likely serve as a portable archive, and in that case, you will only be adding additional songs to the unit (and not moving your entire collection to the unit every time) for most uses...The DMP-HD610 unit does, of course, include a DV 5V Power Input jack that is used to power the unit and recharge the removable lithium-ion battery..." read more »

"Flawless audio and photo streaming Improved video playback Wide range of connectivity and support...Still the occasional glitch with the wireless connection Limited internal codec support...Video playback, the biggest weakness of the past Medialounge devices is far more stable, and almost all of the content we tested worked first time without too many problems...The Medialounge’s main function is to stream content wirelessly from a PC, so a wireless home..." read more »

"The D-Link DSM-604H was the least impressive NAS device in this roundup...In fact, its total lack of security and high cost per gigabyte of storage make it tough for us to recommend to anyone...Still, this can't make up for the DSM-604H's security shortcomings...Thus we can't recommend the DSM-604H, particularly when other devices in this roundup take security seriously..." read more »

"at first I was dissapointed with the music quality because I heard pops here and there, along with distortion in the 10-20k Hz sound range......Only outputs a mono signal (but that is fairly unimportant to me...D-link doesn't sell the receiver portion of this setup separately...or offer a kit with more than one receiver; otherwise I certainly would have kept it..." read more »
