I'm sure Garmins are good and they will work, but the Magellan6000T matched their highest priced Nuvi systems feature for feature and was significantly cheaper...I would strongly recommend the Magellan6000T...Good in the daytime but right on the edge of too bright at night...
I like this unit and it's highly recommended...I'm pretty savvy with the tech toyz so I would not recommend this...Overall, this is the best GPS unit I used so far...
