24 August 2006 - The C4180 is a compact All-in-one (AIO) device designed to produce fast general document printing but with the addition of an extra photo ink cartridge so you can print photos as well...It wouldn't be so bad if the print quality was worth the wait...48-bit colour depth and the top optical resolution can create massive scan files, over 500MB in some cases, and scanning quality...
For this reason they invented non-refillable ink cartridges, bad for you & the environment...Kind of slow printer speed (I'm spoiled though using lazerjets at school that print 100 P.P.M.) Overall a great printer to do my basic college printing and document editing...I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good budget printer that just needs a few pages daily printed...
Only negative I have is that HP does not give you full ink tanks with their printers, its a bit more than a sample, but, ok, the printer is so good, I accept it...Overall I am thrilled with the output...Its too bad, my old HP printer is 7 yrs old and working great...
