Easy to use...No digital outputs
Grainy in low light...The biggest benefit of camcorders such as the DC100 is that you can record straight to DVD and play movies on a standard set-top DVD player without having to convert it to disc on your PC first...Just as well too, since the DC100 has no Firewire or USB connection...DVD camcorders are usually a little more expensive than equivalent...
The microphone is surprisingly good for such a small camcorder...Although it's a fairly good camcorder for its price range, it's not to say there aren't significant improvements needed...If you want a fun camera that you will actually use, this is a good choice...
